Marina's Sweet Treasures was born from a passion for bringing the delightful, less-sweet flavors of German baking to San Jose. My story is one of love for baking and a desire to share these unique treats with my community.
What makes Marina's Sweet Treasures stand out from other bakeries in San Jose is that my cakes are less sweet and still delicious, they really come from the heart, since I want to show other people that cakes don't have to be sugary to be delicious. The recipes are traditional German recipes.
The core values that drive Marina's Sweet Treasures are only using the best ingredients, sharing the German culture's specialities and being able to make others content with what I bake.

If a customer could only try one thing from Marina's Sweet Treasures, I would recommend Nusszopf, since it is a yeast speciality with nuts, marzipan and apricots. It's the favorite of my son, because it is not too sweet.
